Services // web · hosting · IT · security · automation
One technical partner for your website, your servers and your office systems.
Small businesses shouldn't have to juggle a freelance designer, a faceless hosting company and a separate IT vendor who never talk to each other. I handle the whole picture, so you have one person to call.
01 // Web design & development
Clean, fast websites shaped around how your business actually works.
Your website has a simple job: explain what you do, load fast on any phone, show up in search and make it easy to buy or get in touch. I build WordPress/Divi sites and fully custom code — whichever fits your goals.
- Custom websites — designed around your real services and brand, never a recycled demo with filler text.
- Redesigns — replace slow or hard-to-edit sites while keeping the content and search rankings you've earned.
- Online stores — clean catalogs, checkout and order notifications that are easy to manage.
- SEO basics built in — proper headings, clean URLs, metadata, fast loading and Search Console from day one.
- Custom plugins & forms — PHP and JavaScript written for your exact workflow when off-the-shelf plugins fall short.

Multi-step bakery order & consultation form
Walks customers through their options, calculates pricing as they choose and generates a PDF summary for the bakery and the customer.
02 // Hosting & care
Hosted on HostPanel — a platform I built and run myself.
A great website doesn't help if the server goes down or an update breaks checkout on a Friday afternoon. I host and maintain client sites on HostPanel, my own managed hosting platform.
- Managed updates — WordPress core, theme and plugin updates handled carefully, with checks afterwards.
- SSL & backups — HTTPS on every site and regular backups ready to restore.
- Security & uptime monitoring — so problems get caught before your customers notice.
- A standby server — a second server in the setup, so there's somewhere to move your site if the primary has trouble.
- Direct help desk — send requests through SupportPress or by email and get answers from me.
- No lock-in — your site stays standard WordPress or Next.js and you own it — move to any host whenever you like.
03 // Managed IT & infrastructure
Steady, responsive IT support for small offices.
When the office Wi-Fi drops, someone gets locked out of Microsoft 365 or a workstation won't boot, work stops. I provide hands-on IT and networking support around Southern California — from one-off repairs to running multi-office networks — plus remote administration.
- Cisco Meraki networks — multi-site networks with firewall and filtering rules and automated hourly health checks.
- Microsoft 365 & Active Directory — onboarding and offboarding, email, permissions and group policy.
- SharePoint & OneDrive — hub and department sites, permissions and moving old file shares into the cloud.
- Security built in — the same A+, Network+ and Security+ certified approach covered in Security below.
- Help desk & computer repair — day-to-day troubleshooting, upgrades and repairs.
- Servers, backups & phones — Proxmox and Windows/Linux servers, tested backups and 3CX phone systems — see the full list below.

04 // Security — network, company & email
Practical security from a CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certified tech.
Most small-business breaches start with something ordinary: a reused password, a missed update, an inbox that wasn't protected. I focus on the fixes that genuinely reduce risk for a small office — explained in plain English.
- Security assessment — a plain-English review of your accounts, devices, network and website, with a prioritized list of fixes.
- Accounts & Microsoft 365 — multi-factor authentication, admin-account cleanup and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to cut phishing and spoofing.
- Network & firewall — firewall rules, guest Wi-Fi separation and remote-access reviews, including Cisco Meraki networks.
- Patching & endpoint protection — workstations and servers kept updated and protected.
- Backups you can restore — backup setup plus periodic restore tests, so recovery is proven before you need it.
- Website security — hardened WordPress, timely updates, least-privilege logins and monitoring.
- Email security — SPF, DKIM and DMARC enforced, phishing filtering and business email compromise prevention.
- Staff awareness — short, practical phishing and password training for your team.

05 // Workflow automation & AI
Stop copying and pasting between your apps.
Most small businesses lose hours every week moving data by hand. I build automations that handle the busywork quietly in the background — and AI tools only where they genuinely help.
- n8n workflow automation — connect your website, database, email and business tools on a schedule or a trigger.
- Custom AI tools & chat — assistants built around your own procedures and product information.
- AI-assisted builds — faster prototyping and data cleanup so projects launch sooner.
- Self-hosted AI — keep sensitive client or company data off public AI services by running models on private infrastructure.
Pricing
How billing works
Every quote is free and comes after a short conversation about what you actually need — no surprise invoices.
Projects
Fixed price, agreed up front
Websites, redesigns, custom plugins, migrations and security assessments are quoted as a fixed price before work starts.
Ongoing
Predictable monthly plans
Hosting & care and managed IT run on a simple monthly plan, so support is budgeted rather than billed by surprise.
One-offs
Hourly for small jobs
Repairs, quick fixes and one-time requests are billed hourly — and I'll tell you the likely range first.
FAQ
Questions about the work
Q.01 Do you only build WordPress sites?
No. WordPress and Divi suit most small-business sites, redesigns and stores — especially with custom plugins. When a project needs a custom database, like AskForVirginia.com, I build full-stack apps with Next.js and MySQL.
Q.02 Can you build features a plugin doesn't offer?
Yes. I write custom plugins and integrations — for example a multi-step order form that calculates prices live and produces a PDF.
Q.03 Do I have to host with you?
No. HostPanel is there if you want hosting and support from one person, but your site stays standard and portable — you can host it wherever you prefer.
Q.04 What does AI and automation look like for a small business?
Getting rid of repetitive manual work. With n8n I connect forms, databases, listings and email so information updates itself, and I build internal AI tools — self-hosted when your data needs to stay private.
Next step
Not sure where to start?
You don't need a 20-page spec. Tell me what's slowing your business down — an outdated website, unreliable hosting, office IT headaches, security worries or manual data entry — and I'll suggest a straightforward path.
